ADVANCES IN RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY:

THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY & SOLUTIONS with IMPLANT ESTHETICS

This presentation will share the latest technology and solutions with FC Zirconium in implant esthetics.

Learning Objectives:

1.    A review of the key predictors for selecting new technology in dentistry and how they affect our process with implant dentistry.

2.    A step-by-step sequence for management of implants in the anterior region, including stent design and soft tissue design with Zirconium ceramic.

3.    A review of different cases illustrating the protocol for success including dealing with mistakes and problems associated with implant placement and the solutions with the new technology

Master Ceramist Pinhas Adar studied initially in Tel Aviv, Israel at Ort Yad Shapiro and then completed his internship with Mr. Willi Geller in Zurich, Switzerland

He specializes in the many facets of porcelain esthetic restorations on both natural teeth and osseointegrated implants.

Mr. Adar has lectured and presented live television programs in the United States, Europe, Israel, the Far East and Australia, as well as a multitude of programs nationally on the multidisciplinary approaches in optimizing esthetics in complex implant restorations.

PRECISION  INDUSTRIAL MILLING of IPS e.max

This presentation will provide a review of dental marketplace services, the changing face of the dental laboratory industry and the expected impact on practicing dentists. As the business model of dental laboratories continues to transition to digital technologies, there will “integration challenges” for technicians and dentists. Mr. Girard will present the benefits of precision industrial milling and address how restorations will be delivered in 2020.

Mike Girard brings 40 years of experience in dental technology, as a ceramist, as an executive with Nobel Biocare, and now as owner of Diadem Precision Technology located in Windsor, Ontario and Troy, Michigan. His company is redefining the design and processing of advanced digital restorations, including the most popular all-ceramic restoration, the IPS e.max CAD.

HARNESSING THE POWER OF SOCIAL MEDIA

The expansion of digital technology has impacted dentists not only in clinical dentistry, but the way in which dentists will soon be expected to interact with their patients of record, and what techniques they will use to attract new patients.  Social media increases visibility, establishes practice expertise, gains new patients, and maintains ongoing contact with existing patients. This presentation will include an overview of new tools, such as websites, Twitter, Facebook for Business, e-newsletters, blogging and online directories. Guidelines will be given to determine which platforms will best help dentists meet his/her goals.

LisaMarie Dias helps business owners create effective online marketing plans and materials.  Her training as a licensed industrial architect informs her technical and design skills.  She uses online webinars, live presentations and one-on-one consultations to help professionals keep an active social media profile.
