ADVANCES IN RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY:

Part 1:  SMILE DESIGN

Part 2: OCCLUSAL AND ESTHETIC PLANNING

This presentation will highlight seven key areas for efficient esthetic diagnosis and treatment.   All-ceramic crown techniques will be outlined in terms of system selection, cement and adhesive selection, and bonding sequence, with a focus on occlusal management in order to minimize porcelain fractures and complications.  The following are course objectives:

  • A step-by-step occlusal strategy for optimum protection
  • Identification of occlusal red flags prior to treatment
  • Optimal clinical techniques to establish a “comfort zone” with all-ceramic crowns and veneers
  • Management of esthetic/restorative complications and soft tissue management
